This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite cakes so far. Zucchini + blueberry + lemon buttercream. This cake screams summer flavors.   In this case, it also marks half way through my cake goal. In reality, I’m well beyond 30 cakes- every now and then I forget to photograph or make a repeat, but  not worried- the goal will be met!

Mia is on a mission to find the perfect carrot cake. Out of carrots, we tried a spice cake instead. “Needs carrot texture,” she declared most tactfully. 

 anniversary with friends who share your anniversary: this calls for breakfast cakes! 
Another berry push cake, this time with black berries. Also baking espresso chocolate cake, but that’s in the oven still. 

Sometimes your husband pretends it’s his birthday on the 4th of July. Sometimes you play along with a patriotic birthday cake.
