Spiced bundt cake with royal icing and candied violets for Mothers’ Day.  

I’m on a quest to find a cardamom flavored cake that my mom would enjoy. This was not quite it but on the positive, there’s still time before Mothers’ Day and it did go nicely with our home brew adult spice I cider. 

in honor of the biggest choc-o-holic a made a chocolate version of the traditional birthday cake because chocolate! Who really needs a reason to add more chocolate?
