Walk the shore, let your body and mind wander, listen to the wind and waves and loves. Let the fears and dreams and sun and breeze wash over you. Mostly just pay attention. Mostly just keep going on. There is more than one way to be at home. #godo #holdfast—————–Summer goal: walk the shoreline from the Platte to Good Harbor completed October 1st

Mia’s Happy Place
I don't know anyone who smiles more at 8am while mucking stalls and hauling hay when it's 45 and raining. But I sure love seeing Mia in this happy place.

Good Morning
Good morning from my beloved school house table. And hello from daily pancakes (yeah it might be a problem)from reading Mary Oliver the day after her birthday (because yesterday required an evening swim instead)from a newly-turned voracious reader sitting next to me (such joy!)from the postcard bookmark which is actually fan mail (sent to my cat, not me)Soon I'll stand up and put on pants (or shorts) and get on with my day. Soonish anyway. But first, this chilly breeze at the table, this food, this reader and that reader, this gratitude, this home spun dream.
This Week’s Table: Library Style
Librarian Day in this little one-room library. Spent the last morning of June finishing the month’s Peppermint Alley Press + folding zines + reading Ivan Coyote’s new book (did they write it just for me?) As always, let me know if your snail mailbox could use a little love and I’ll send you a copy. 📬
