Looking back at the March Peppermint Alley Press as I work to finish the April edition. I am not usually on time and I don’t generally have a theme but writing these zines and sharing them with you brings me such joy.
It’s Me
One of my most treasured things is getting drawings (and zines) from kids.
This gem was drawn by one of my kickass students who I have only seen in zoom windows since last March 💔. They explained that they made my chest smaller because they thought I’d like it. And then I said oh! My chest is flat now, I’ve had top surgery. And they said “cool. I think I really got your hair though!”
