Wrapping up this extended Up North season with carving and treasure hunts, howling chilly winds and laughter that warms the heart.
Tonight the hearth is warm and the car is packed. Leaving home and heading home all at once. I am so grateful for this world and the ones we get to share life with.

Surprise Snow Day

The kids got their wish: to stay at the (mostly unheated) Unschool House until snow fell. I think we’ll stay just a little longer.
