Today in order of what I felt the most to least competent doing: mailed gay things from the cutest apple orchard mailbox, walked along foggy rows of trees and held a toddler and a baby. Also: somehow the toddler has decided that my name is George. I’m okay with that.
It’s Me
One of my most treasured things is getting drawings (and zines) from kids.
This gem was drawn by one of my kickass students who I have only seen in zoom windows since last March 💔. They explained that they made my chest smaller because they thought I’d like it. And then I said oh! My chest is flat now, I’ve had top surgery. And they said “cool. I think I really got your hair though!”
