Happy 15th

Happy 15th Birthday to this one. My first one. He has the best smile and an even better laugh. I look up to him in so very many ways.My dear @keldeoreed, river ambassador, lover of all the blues with an excellent taste in softness and strength. You are a keen observer of life, keeper of the stories, finder of everyday magic and forgotten treasures. Keep your eyes open and may you always hold that deep trust in yourself.

Birthday Magic

I've already shared my birthday love with @quickestgirl privately but who else would send ME a gift that magically arrives on HER birthday. We are so very lucky to have you in our lives and in this world Pauline!

Finishing Year Three

Finishing up July's #PeppermintAlleyPress and getting ready to send it out into the world! This makes THREE years of monthly snail mail creating. I'll have to reflect on that toddler aged milestone but in the meantime, you can send me your address and I'll send you mail. 📬🪄

This Was Amazing.

A few more highlights now that I'm back to signal land: clay pinch pots in waterfalls, suspension bridge, beaver watching, campsite with a view, a little rain and plenty of hiking
We took a few days to go camping, to a hike-in spot and we found the dreamiest campsite: Sleeping with a river on one side and this clay waterfall on the other side. We hiked across a person-only suspension bridge, learned what beavers sound like when you accidentally enter their territory, played in mossy trees, watched sunsets over a mighty river and of course we hiked a lot. You know what nobody said even once?

Nobody ever mentioned being bored.

This unplugged time is just the reset I hoped it would be.
