This dragon fly landed on my foot at the lake last night and then stayed there, calmly perched, for over fifteen minutes. Rhys and I both got to pet its green body! After awhile I said thank you and off my friend flew, bumping Ry in the eye and then gracefully out over the water. I don’t know what it means, but this was my magical solstice sign.

From this and other things I read, a dragon fly can represent lightness and change. Both appropriate for solstice.
